1.10 INSTALLATION
REQUIREMENTS
Reliable operation
and low maintenance costs for the gas turbine require that the purchaser installation
designs and operating/maintenance practices be in accordance with the instructions
defined in the then-current Installation Design Manual and the Operation
and Maintenance Manual.
1.20 PURCHASER'S
RESPONSIBILITIES
It is to be recognized
that the purchaser has system responsibility for technical integration of the
LMA 1500 gas turbine into a complete gas turbine system, satisfying the installation/interface
requirements and recommended operation/maintenance practices defined in the
then-current Installation Design Manual and Operation and Maintenance
Manual. The purchaser's attention is specifically referred to, but not
limited to, such system interfacing consideration s as vibration, controls,
fuel quality, inlet air quality, inlet system design and construction, and gas
turbine cooling.
1.30 ACCEPTANCE
TEST
Each gas turbine
is tested at LM Alternatives test facility to verify proper mechanical operation
and compliance with guarantee performance levels. Testing is in accordance with
LM Alternatives established practice for industrial gas turbines. Measurements
at five test data points, spanning the entire power range, are taken to establish
shaft horsepower and heat rate. Test data is corrected to the guarantee conditions.
Upon completion of the test, a formal Test Acceptance Report, including copies
of all original test log and data sheets, is issued by Engineering.
